2007 is over, and I have been flying for about two and a half years. Not much progess made this year as I've been so busy with other things, moved house twice and been out of the country alot with work.

08/12/2007 Fast-Lads
I was in Sheffield today and called in at Fast-Lads shop to pickup the last part I need to fix the Raptor. Great shop, so tempting to spend lots of money!
08/10/2007 Club
Today I joined a new club, Thearne MAC. I was one of the few heli pilots at BADMAC, and there are many heli pilots at this club. Plus BADMAC have lost their current field at the end of this year, with no new alternatives. Thearne have a great set of facilities and I already know some the members from the flyins I've been to. I'm looking forward to many happy hours at the new field.
15/09/2007 NNMFC Flyin
My third year at the North Notts Flyin. I was supposed to be back in Abu Dhabi, but the trip was delayed, so I hadn't got any models ready. I arrived at about 16:30 on the Saturday and stayed for the excellent BBQ.

Another good year at the 3D Masters. There had been a lot of rain on the Friday, and some rain on the Saturday this meant the field was very muddy and I even slipped over in it, however, it also meant some of the rounds got moved to the Sunday so there was more flying to watch :) The best bit has to be that I won a T-Rex 600 CF kit in the Raffle :)

If you ever get the chance to have a go in a real heli, do it, it was amazing. Just need to find 15K to get my licence...
For my 30th birthday I got a 'Virgin Experience Day - Helicopter Explorer' and today I used it at Dragon Helicopters at Sheffield City Airport. The flight was in a Robinson R22 when I got to it looked really small! I went into this thinking it was more of a pleasure flight, but in fact it was more like a lesson. I got to use all the controls flying around and in the hover back at the airport. The pilot also did two auto's.

A great weekend. I took my Raptor but I didn't fly in the end, it was a bit too windy on the Saturday.
